A note about communication
After an intense, but good, business trip I found that most issues are communication.
Apparent micromanagement? Poor progress feedback.
Product release confusion? Poor review frequency, or visibility on product being developed.
Product teams not reacting to other team’s product changes? Risk management visibility. Product managers and product development teams need to have joint visibility on risk, so that mitigation is collaborative.
These points are for pastoral and product driven. Have you been to a church seminar and heard what sounded like contradicting teachings? Most of the time it is from different context and the teachings don’t conflict. However, it would have been beneficial of the presenters had reviewed their presentations with each other to find that conflict from missing context.
