Breaking through your biggest hurdle.
This is a slightly edited version of what I posted on Linkedin.
The secret to clearing your hurdle, is not letting your ego or frustration stop you.
You can either train and learn to clear it yourself. Or, big O on that, you can ask for some one to walk with you to clear it.
This is a lesson that is taught regularly, using all sorts of other titles and descriptors from other organizations. But where I’m at now, it is a part of or transparency policy.
If you have KPOs or RKOs, that transparency is to make sure you are aware of your need to overcome hurdles, and get help when needed.
In a healthy company culture, this helps. In an unhealthy company culture, then it is micromanaging tool. Make sure your company culture is healthy, and vibrant.
